Tantrum Catalysts

"Don't stand on the couch."

"No standing on the chair."

"No biting! Biting hurts!"

"You have to hold Mommy's hand."

"Please give that to Mommy."

"Say bye-bye to Daddy. He has to go to work."

"Mommy has to use the bathroom. She'll be right out."

"Don't eat paper."

They always hate hearing the word "NO" in any of it's forms. However, it you stick to your guns, Cooper will know that you mean it the first time you say it, every time you say it.

Hang in there and ignore this behavior as much as you can. Although, I must admit there was that time that I bit Mitchell back. That worked, too.

Love you,

Mitchell's Mom

Just wait till he starts saying it right back at you. . . over and over again. . . in the supermarket line. . . while hurling himself to the ground and squeezing the candy bar in to such disfigurement you're going to have to buy it anyway. hee hee!

(sorry, i'm just single. I mean jealous)
